THE MOVIE
Ghost war: the sale of Alstom to General Electric is a 52 minutes documentary on the sale of Alstom's energy business to American giant General Electric. This documentary was produced by Along Production for two years, independently of the TV channels. It is during the post-production process of the film that LCP-Assemblée nationale became co-producer in order to be the first broadcaster.
In order to make this complicated subject both attractive and understandable, the film is told like a thriller: sequences drawn in black and white regularly punctuate the key moments of the documentary, the lighting and the shooting were stylized in this meaning and narration was thought to immerse the viewer in this story worthy of a spy novel.
PRODUCTION
The idea of the film originated in the minds of the two directors, David Gendreau and Alexandre Leraître, in September 2015. It was on this date that they decided to treat this subject, never addressed in a documentary. Quickly joined by Along Production, directed by Arnaud Thorel and Antoine Barbaroux, they are committed together to produce this project off the beaten track and without any basic support of conventional financing circuits... The film will be sold finished, after having been written and shot in totally free conditions. After 9 months of work and investigation, the team starts filming in June 2016.

Entirely self-funded with a team of enthusiasts, this independent mode of production forced all the participants to multiply the positions. Thus, Alexandre Leraître combines both the director of the film, but also cartoonist animated sequences while David Gendreau ensures both the directing, editing, framing and light. As for the producers, they did not limit themselves to organizing the planning, the financing and the sale of the film but also occupied technician positions. It is therefore a project carried at arm's length by a team of enthusiasts who has not hesitated to invest a lot of time, money and energy during the last two years.
Recording of the voices of Stefan Godin and Clément Vieu
While the film is almost finished, Along Production will seek out the TV channels for 5 months. In the end, the LCP-Assemblée nationale will be the most interested to broadcast the documentary as a co-producer. Once the final post-production work is complete, the film will be aired for the first time on September 25, 2017, on LCP, at 8:30 pm.
